What is your background?

I'm a recent college graduate with a Computer Science Degree (from the United States Military Academy at West Point) and a love for technology.  That is to say...someone who knows just enough to get himself into trouble. I just finished writing an article for the Linux Journal (published June 2011) about compiling a 2.6.33 Kernel with the drivers and libraries necessary to run the Digital Signal Processor.

What is your background?

Brian received his BSEE, Summa Cum Laude (1991) from Washington State University, with a focus on microprocessor system designs. Brian began his career at Boeing where he spent 5 years working on passenger entertainment systems including the Cabin Interphone and Public Address systems for the 777 aircraft and on a Phased Array antenna system designed to allow reception of Direct Broadcast Satellite feeds (i.e. DirecTV and Dish Network) live to in-service airplanes.
